El Reloj is in a rural area surrounded by orange and lemon groves and is a small urbanisation built for local professionals. It is a 20 minute drive away from Murcia town and three large shopping complexes. There are 3 further villages for food shopping, bars and restaurants, schools, within a 5-10 minute drive. There is also a medical centre and ambulance service close by. There is a family run supermarket within walking distance. The urbanisation has a large communal pool and bar area, further bar/restaurant, football pitches, paddle ball courts and gardens. El Reloj has mainly Spanish residents, but also a British and Dutch contingent. We are also close to the spa baths which are very popular and there are also free Spanish classes offered. Alicante and Murcia airports are a 40 minute drive away.
There are two schools serving the area, both with school buses.
The house sits in a plot size of 1,200m2 with a well established fully enclosed and gated garden. The garden is south facing and there are various patio areas, one covered by a large porch. The house pool is 10m x 5m, with Roman steps and shower, and there is a large outside kitchen for entertainment which has power and water supplies, a BBQ, electric hob and wood burning oven. Attached to the outside kitchen is a laundry room and facilities for storage behind. A garden shed is also included. Entrance to the property can be gained by a small access gate to the front of the property or via the large sliding gate at the rear of the property which leads onto 3 carports and one extra parking bay. All windows are fitted with security grills and there is an alarm system in place as well as window locks. The property has Sky TV and internet connections.
