Intermodal terminal located in eastern Poland, near to the Ukraine border.
It is one of the few terminals that integrate on their area the S-11 railway track (so-called: broad) which has 1520 mm gap and 985 mb length with S47N track (so-called: normal) that has 1435 mm gap and 965 mb length. Location, gauge and functionality gives the possibility of loading configuration – reloading and storage of different commodity groups. A detailed description is presented in the appendix.
This terminal due to the connection to the railway lines of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and also China gives unlimited possibilities for transferring the goods by overland from Asia to Europe. Communication of the terminal with the road E373 (currently also road with the standards of the highway S12 is under construction) and a large area of warehouses allows to distribute the commodity mass with the use of road transport. Terminal is the part of the facility for production of steel constructions, which is provided with complex production line with all equipment and infrastructure. A characteristic feature of this facility are low conversion costs of production halls into magazines. This investment can get the additional financing up to 20 million Euro from the EU funds for the development of intermodal terminals. It is also exempted from property taxes due to its character.
The building of the factory of steel structures determines the element of technological
chain; consist of the building of the factory of steel structures, refinery, sandblasting room,
painting room and the office building about the surface of 3.460,7 m². Equipped in track-way,
winch and gantry up to 12,5 and 8 tons.
The workshops of the total surface of 9000m² are designed for the production of heavy steel structures
