LOCATION
Vicopisano is a beautiful medieval village typical of the area. Despite its small size, it possesses a wealth of monuments dating back to medieval truly remarkable; the most important are the 12 towers (XI-XV century), two medieval palaces of the twelfth century, a medieval fortress designed by Brunelleschi, a Romanesque church also twelfth century.
Since 1996, the first weekend of September each year there is the Medieval Festival, medieval re-enactment in gender folk costumes.
