This stunning and unique contemporary take on the traditional Finca is the embodiment of chic design, drawing influences from both the Moors and far Eastern architectural philosophies.
The surrounding landscape is both, beautiful and peaceful and often no sound is to be heard, save for the melodic clanking of the local goats bells... Yet, it is only 10km from the many perfect beaches of NE Mallorca.
The house enjoys total privacy in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and with the picturesque village of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar only 3km away, owners will be able to enjoy numerous restaurants, featuring a range of cuisine from the fine dining to the rustic.
From the moment you walk in through the huge wooden pivot door, you are greeted by billowing white drapes that cover the enormous sliding windows, which glide into the walls, to create a sumptuous feeling of space, calm and tranquilly.
Through out the house, the owners world class art collection by celebrated photographers such as Helmet Newton, further helps to understand why the house is called so.
The main salon has a shimmering open flame gas fire, as well as furnishings by B&B Italia and design classics like the Barcelona day bed. Its large sliding glass panels open onto the pool (16x4) and the many terraces with different raised and sunken sun bathing areas. Adjacent to the pool is the striking geometric garden of oranges and lemons, which make for a lovely evenings stroll, as the oleander and rosemary scented hedges begin their assault on your senses.
The front of the house features clipped cloud olive trees, as well as imposing Cypress trees and bourganvillia beyond the tree lined drive which is straddled by the vineyard that guests drive through from the electric gates.
The kitchen was designed by Boffi and has a host of top appliances, which include waste disposal, wine chiller and Cooker boiling tap, as well as all the usual other fittings.
Each of the generous bedrooms has their own designer bathroom en suite, with appliances by Duravit and again striking art work from Helmet Newton in each.
Each of the rooms has floor to ceiling windows that can be slid away to ensure there is no barrier between the user and the outside landscape.
Upstairs are two large roof terraces, as well as a master suite with its own two balconies, individually set mode light settings, safe and open plan bathroom with free standing bath and a separate shower.
The house has been carefully designed to allow the wonderful natural breezes to flow through, keeping it pleasantly cool even in the peak of the summer months.
