Set in the Borgo « La Paladina », in the depth of the stunning, vibrant Umbrian countryside and at walking distance from the picturesque Etruscan town of Monteleone d’Ovierto, the “Antica Sosta” awaits you, just as it did over 600 years ago, when travelers used to stop there and rest!
The “Antica Sosta” is located in the municipality of Monteleone d'Orvieto along the road that connects with Fabro. It is just 4 km from Fabro. In a five-minute drive, there is Fabro train station and the Fabro exit at the A1 motorway, while within 25-35 km, the main towns of Umbria and Tuscany such as Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, San Casciano dei Bagni with its spa (Fonteverde SPA), Pienza and Siena can be reached. The nearest airport is Perugia Sant'Egidio (48 km), which has direct flights to Milan and London, the latter with Ryan Air. For international flights, there are Rome Ciampino (154 km) and Rome Fiumicino (185 km).
The house itself has been recently refurbished and renovated, adding modern comfort to the original and authentic charm of the place.

The house is distributed on three floors:
-at the ground floor: open space kitchen with fireplace and dining area with wood burning stove, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
-At the first floor: entrance hall, living room, dining area with fireplace, kitchen, laundry room, pantry, two bathrooms.
-At the third floor: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a wardrobe.
Borgo the “Antica Sosta” is also a holiday and relaxing center realized from the very careful architectural restoration of an ancient small village where agriculture has been the main activity for centuries.
All our flat are furnished with simple but typical pieces of furniture. When you enter our apartments, you can really feel the fascination of the old cottage and get involved into a charming welcoming atmosphere. Everything has been realized with attention to details in order to offer a big comfort to our guests.
Only 7 minutes’ walk from the village, the Antica Sosta is the ideal place to escape urban stress and be close to many spectacular touristic sites.
