was the first and only real diving submarine on the island. ‘Submarine
Safaris’ brought a new dimension to this wonderful island, and to the
beautiful marina of Puerto Calero. The submarine ‘Sub Fun Tres’ evolved to one of the most successful tourist attractions on the island, with on average 9 dives a day.
The company continuously improved its approach and operating model
and evolved to one of the most successful examples in its kind. They
managed to build a complete user experience, exceeding many of its
competitors.
This success resulted into the expansion of the company in 2007: a new
submarine (‘Sub Fun Cinco’) was introduced on the island of Tenerife,
enabling Submarine Safaris to reach a larger market (Tenerife is a top
tourist location since many decades).
