Pocri; in the province of Los Santos is perfectly situated between the quaint and tourist friendly town of Pedasi (13 miles/22 kilometers) to the south, the center of major annual events such as Carnival and Mil Polleras with supermarkets and shopping at Las Tablas (13 miles/22 kilometers) to the north, mountain villages, hiking and sightseeing to the east and, only 2 miles down the gravel frontage road to the west, you’ll find Playa Los Bajaderos – a two mile stretch of tranquility, sand, usually calm seas and rarely used by others! Still further north from ‘your own private beach’ is the small fishing village of La Concepcion/La Yeguada, a ‘suburb’ you could say of Pocri.
