This charming and beautiful hostel has been fully running for already 10 years in the magical island Of Florianopolis. It was the 1st hostel in Lagoa da conceição, the most famous and prestigious neighbour in Florianopolis, receiving (welcoming) a big amount of visitors and backpackers all over the year (even in low season it always busy).
The location is surrounded by mountains, beaches , lagoons , waterfalls, sand dunes and may other beautiful things.
Tucano House is famous and well know all over brazil and South America, and it’s been in the most important travel guides since the beginning (lonely planet, rough guide, le monde, etc..).
Its definitely one of the most famous hostel proprieties in South America.
The building has capacity for 48 guests, and the land has 400m2 (total building area is 505m2). All construction was made with the best quality materials, including rare species of wood, porcelain tiles, wooden floors.
Everything works perfectly and was very well designed for a hostel and for a good natural light and air flow (ventilation)

3 double room (shared toilet)
1 shared mixed dorm for 12 people (double level)
1 shared mixed dorm for 10 people
1 shared dorm for 6 people (female)
2 shared mixed dorm for 6 people (each room)
*ALL ROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING
6 shared toilets (7 HOT showers, 7 toilets, 8 sinks)
2 fully furnished kitchens (one industrial and one for guests)
1 fully furnished bar (85m2 total area) with BBQ area, wood fire pizza oven and swimming pool
Big balcony with beds and hammocks (view to the pool and bar)
Reception, TV room, 2 deposits (cleaning products, tools. One only for foods)
8 Solar panels for water heating (Eco friendly and big save on bills).
The propriety is with our family for almost 25 years , and we do have all the strong documents of the land and the house, (architectural project, , sanitary project, firefighter project, etc...)
Also, we do have all the business licences to make it a secure business, making easy to keep the business running (or opening a new one), and only 10% of hostels and business in town have them.
