This charming Bed & Breakfast is a great business opportunity! The location is very beautiful, extended 90 meters along the river Perequê Açu in the central part of the town. The B & B has 20 comfortable apartments in the main building, 3 in annex and 1 chalet. There is one building of reception and office and a new construction of 100 m², a wonderful tropical garden and a swimming pool. Total area of the property: 6.700 m² and constructed area 1.300 m². There are a lots of possibility to expand and there is an ongoing project studying to make a pier marina on the river.

Since many years ago Paraty is the favourite holiday paradise for the middle- and upper classes from Rio de Janeiro. The standard is high, like European and Paraty is also a highlight for international tourism.
Paraty is one of the most well-preserved colonial town in Brazil. It is a picturesque town with a charming Historical center. The Historical Center of Paraty goes back to the 1820's, when its streets already had their stone pavement. The Historic Center, considered by UNESCO as "the most harmonious colonial architectural complex" is also National Heritage. Its streets, protected by chains that prevent the passage of cars, still preserve colonial charm, coupled with a varied commerce and very intense cultural and artistic expressions. The cars can only circulate along the streets that border the Historical Center.
Paraty is surrounded by rainforest and is famous for its beautiful archipelago with plenty of islands. There is a marina for speed boats and yachts.
There are many exciting activities in the region. You can go hiking in the jungle to desert beaches and beautiful waterfalls, visit an Indian village and descendants of slaves, go on boat trips, fishing, paddle cayaqi, go snorkeling, diving and surfing. Paraty is also well-known for distilleries of rum and a rich musical life. There is an annual International Litterature Festival (FLIP) and a famous Jazz Festival and many festivities and traditional celebrations.
Close to Paraty there is a National Parque, Serra da Bocaina, preserving the Atlantic rainforest with its magnificent flora and fauna. There is no malaria as in the Amazon.
Paraty has a very pleasant climate, with an average annual temperature of about 25 degrees. It is not getting as hot as in the Northeast of Brazil located close to the equator.
